ABOUT ME
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist. I received my Master’s Degree (with Distinction) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pretoria (TUKS), and was invited into the Gold Key International Honours Society for topic academic achievers. I have also received my Master’s Degree in Gestalt Play Therapy from the University of South Africa (UNISA).

Currently I work as a Clinical Psychologist in Correctional Services at Kgosi Mampuru II, where I am the Divisional Head Psychologist at Central Correctional Centre. In this role I manage psychologists and the component in the Centre. In addition to this I also provide Psychological Interventions and Psychological Assessments for individuals and groups.

I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist in a variety of settings which include Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital, various hospitals,clinics, schools and children's homes.

As a Clinical Psychologist I work primarily with adults, adolescents and children. I have had the opportunity to have training in multiple psychological interventions from a variety of psychological paradigms/schools of thought. Along with this I have years of experience in dealing with various forms of challenges and difficulties and am therefore able to work from a psychological approach which will best suite your unique challenge or difficulty. As a Clinical psychologist, my therapeutic approach is rooted in my passion for my work, and my belief in the human spirit to transcend any situation.
